Piper wants one thing in life: to become a Consul, a keeper of the peace between humans and daemons. There are three obstacles in her way.

But no one realizes that her father doesn’t have the Sahar Stone. Piper does.

Now shes on the run with every daemon in the city hunting for the Stone—and for her. She has to keep the artifact a secret while trying to save her fatherand there are only two daemons she can turn to for help. See problems one and two.
